Hey look, we’ve got more Detroit Lions logo-and-uniform rumors for you! Indeed, the Lions have been the most active team in the NFL so far this offseason when it comes to these types of rumors, and that’s partly due to the fact that their team president continues to talk about uniform rumors (namely concerning their Color Rush alternates) every chance he gets.
Now, we’ve got even more rumors to speculate about, though this time it isn’t coming straight from the source. Instead, it’s coming from the astute eye of a fan who noticed something different about the Lions’ logo. Twitter user Jason Charbonneau recently mentioned us to point out that there was something different about the outline of the logo.
Normally, the outline of the Lion is black. However, it does look a little lighter than usual — in fact, you could almost say that it looks silver. For comparison’s sake, here’s the current logo with the clearly black outline.
With a uniform overhaul reportedly on the way, could this be a sign of things to come for the Lions? Will they be phasing out black in order to focus more on blue, silver, and white? Do you think that is much ado about nothing and that we’ll probably see them wearing some sort of black once the rumored overhaul comes through? Let us know what you make of this news!
