As we reported earlier during the NFL’s offseason, every team in the league will be participating in the NFL and Nike’s Color Rush program this season. Even blueblood teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers will be getting in on the fun, as the team has confirmed that they’ll be wearing their Color Rush uniforms for their home game on Christmas Day against their heated rivals, the Baltimore Ravens.
While we don’t know exactly what the uniforms look like (and Steelers owner Art Rooney II did say that they’ll be unveiling the uniform in the coming weeks), we do know that the color combo will be black-on-black. Bryan DeArdo of 247sports.com posted a mockup on his Twitter account of what he thinks the unis will look like.
I’d imagine that the actual Color Rush uniform will look very similar to this, so there’s that. Also, you might want to get ready to see the Ravens wear all-white for the game as well. With that being said, I’m just glad that the Steelers won’t be wearing all-gold. That would’ve been garish, in my opinion.
However, what do you all think of the Steelers deciding to go all-black for the Color Rush?
