The National Hockey League today announced that SAP, a software engineering company headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, will be sponsoring every team jersey for the upcoming 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
A SAP logo will appear as a patch on the shoulders:
No details, that we can find, were made about the financials surrounding the deal, however as Greg Wyshynski noted this isn’t the first time these two have done business…

The SAP patch will not be sold on retail versions of the jersey, which were already available in stores before the announcement was made.
