Sponsor Patch Returns to 2017 NBA All-Star Unis

2017 NBA All-Star Uniforms

We got our first look at the new 2017 NBA All-Star Game uniforms earlier today and the sponsor patch for KIA is making a return. This isn’t much of a surprise as the agreement the league made with KIA to have their logo appear on NBA All-Star jerseys was announced last season as a two-year plan covering the 2016 game in Toronto and 2017, which has since moved to New Orleans.

The photo of the new uniforms was first Tweeted by Rod Walker of The New Orleans Advocate (@rwalkeradvocate) and shows both the East and West All-Star designs. While which jersey belongs to which conference isn’t immediately apparent, the grey/blue one is for the Eastern All-Stars and the black/red for the West.

We’ve also since received a screenshot from the NBA2K17 video game which shows these same two jerseys (via @RaptorsRealTalk):

As was the case in 2016 the jerseys also feature the Adidas logo in the upper right, opposite the sponsor patch. This is the first All-Star jersey design to specifically read “ALL-STAR” across the front of the jersey while also not mentioning the conference since their throwback design in 2003. In 2015 the jerseys didn’t say anything on the front, every other year since then at least read “East” or “West”.

Back in December we had gotten a look at the conference-specific logos for the 2017 All-Star Game courtesy @ConradBurry, we’re not entirely sure where these will be used since they don’t appear to be on the front of the jerseys.
