Major League Baseball today announced its list of marketing partners for the upcoming 2017 World Baseball Classic. That in itself may not be the most exciting news out there…
Within that list, however, was the advertisers for each of the team’s batting helmet and jersey sleeves. This isn’t anything new at the WBC, many teams wore helmet and sleeve logos at the 2009 and 2013 tournaments as you’ll see in this photo from 2013 of Angel Pagan with Puerto Rico:
In fact, Puerto Rico is partnered up with the exact same helmet (Universal) and jersey (T-Mobile) logos once again in 2017.
Here’s a visual breakdown (and another followed by text) of all the jersey and helmet advertisers which were announced today by Major League Baseball, note the logos you see here aren’t necessarily what the patches/decals will look like but they are the main logo for the company which will be represented:

I’m told patch and decal placement will be identical to 2013, this would mean they will appear on the left side for both the helmet and jersey.
The 2017 World Baseball Classic gets underway on March 6th and runs until the championship game to be held in Los Angeles on March 22nd.
