Stars Will Shine for 25th Season

Dallas Stars 25th Anniversary Logo

The Dallas Stars showed off a photo of the commemorative patch they will wear next season in honour of their 25th season playing in Texas.

We’d already long known what the logo would look like, a “25” in white with grey bevels inside a map of the State of Texas in black with the Dallas Stars logo on top of it all. What we didn’t know is that the patch would be of the new shiny “ChromaFlex” style we’ve seen in MLB and the NFL of late.

Take a look:

Dallas has previously worn a patch in commemoration of their 20th season since relocating from Minnesota back in 2012-13 as modelled here by “wait, he played for the Stars?!” legend Jaromir Jagr:

The franchise has worn a 25th anniversary patch before, just prior to moving to Dallas the Minnesota North Stars wore this patch during the 1991-92 season:
