The Toledo Mud Hens, Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, will wear one of the best promotional jerseys minor league baseball has seen in a long time later this summer. June 30 through July 3, the Mud Hens will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1992 US Olympic basketball team featuring the likes of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, David Robinson, and, of course, Christian Laettner, with special uniforms designed to emulate those worn by the Dream Team.
Toledo’s jerseys will be auctioned off at each of the four games, all fireworks nights against the Columbus Clippers, with proceeds benefitting the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo and Helping Hens Charities.
