We’ve entered an Inception-style meta world in which minor league baseball teams are creating promotional jerseys based on their own alternate identities for special events. The Fresno Grizzlies will go several layers deep into the shared dream world of minor league promotions on the Fourth of July, which just happens to fall on a Taco Tuesday, when the team typically wears its much-ballyhooed Fresno Tacos uniforms.
If you hadn't noticed, the 4th of July is on on a #TacoTuesday🌮 this year. The #FresnoTacos🌮 will be ready. #AmericanTacos🌮 pic.twitter.com/vWxaGdFDoo

Fans will be treated to a patriotic red, white, and blue take on the normally green, yellow, and orange uniforms associated with the Grizzlies’ taco-based alter ego.
No word on whether the team plans to release fans from the limbo in which Leonardo DiCaprio’s totem top spins indefinitely, but we do know that the jerseys will be auctioned off for charity.
