Bonne fête, Impact! Montreal’s Major League Soccer team is celebrating their 25th year this season and will do so with a slightly new look.
In recognition of the anniversary the team is adding a 25th anniversary badge to the front of the jersey in between their usual shield and the Adidas logo.
Silver has been added to the kit as well, player names and numbers will now be silver instead of white, and will feature a fleur-de-lis on the back numbers. The addition of silver is a nod to their original team jerseys from their inaugural season.
As part of the release for the 2018 uniform the team announced that 2019 would see an entirely new jersey followed by additional new jerseys in 2020 and 2021.
