The Cleveland Cavaliers white uniforms have seen less court time than Rodney Hood these playoffs… and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
Cleveland last wore their “association” white uniforms six weeks ago on April 3rd during a regular season home game against the Toronto Raptors. The NBA today released the uniform schedule for the upcoming 2018 Eastern Conference Final between the Cavs and the Boston Celtics and, well, the whites still aren’t alright apparently:
Boston knows how to do it.
As has been the case for the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs, Cleveland will continue to wear their black “statement” uniforms at home and their wine “icon” look while on the road.
It’s an odd decision considering throughout the regular season the Cavs wore their white uniforms 40% of the time… but then again looking at their regular season performance vs the playoffs maybe it was the right call.
We’re still waiting to see the Western Conference Final uniform schedule for the battle colours between Golden State and Houston.
