The San Jose Barracuda, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Sharks unveiled a tweak to their logo and uniform set for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
What was previously the alternate logo has been promoted to their primary, basically the club is replacing the corporate logo for Barracuda Networks which had lurked in the background on their primary logo with an “SJ” for their home city.
The new primary isn’t a 100% exact copy of the previous alternate, small tweaks have been made to the size of the barracuda, as well as the shape of the “J”. Take a look:
Uniform striping pattern stays the same, the new primary replaces the old on the front, and the Sharks logo now goes on both shoulders replacing an “SJ” mark.
