Major League Baseball this week unveiled the full slate of logos to be used during their 2018 playoff schedule in October.
The logos for the LCS, LDS, and Wildcard rounds all follow the same style previously established by the 2018 World Series logo which we had already seen earlier this season.
A stylized wordmark is by far the main element of the designs, we see metallic/bevel style blue lettering using what looks to be a modified Bank Gothic-style font. Two pennants fly from either side of each of the logos, two red for National League rounds and two blues for the American League – notice for both the Postseason and World Series logos there’s one red and one blue.
