The St. Louis Blues unveiled their new alternate heritage uniform tonight, a retro-inspired design to be worn during the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Released at their Icebreaker fan event, the third uniform is blue with the classic “Bluenote” logo on the chest with vintage white and gold stripes at the waist and arms. Numbers are gold with blue and white trim.
The uniform is based on the design the Blues wore with various minor tweaks for their initial 18 seasons from 1967 through 1984; the team recently brought the uniform back for the Winter Classic they hosted in 2017, they proved so popular they wore them an additional six times (indoors) during the second half of that 2016-17 season.
