2018 Week 8 NFL Uniform Matchups

Three throwbacks, a couple of ColorRushs, and an alternate uniform here in week 8 of the 2018 NFL schedule.

Houston kicked things off (pun? no) on Thursday by wearing their all-blue ColorRush set at home against the Dolphins, joined by the New Orleans Saints in their all-white ColorRush uniform for the Sunday nighter in Minnesota.

On the throwback side, we have the Pittsburgh Steelers debuting their new throwback option for 2018, a nod to the Super Bowl championship team in 1979 but a design that was worn for nearly three decades overall. The Chicago Bears are doing their annual throwback to their 1940s uniform this afternoon against the Jets, and the Los Angeles Rams throwback-not-a-throwback uniform is once again taking the field today against the Green Bay Packers in one of five games they’ll wear this uniform. Carolina is wearing their should-be-their-home-uniform alternate blues pairing them with white pants at home against the Ravens.

Here’s what we know so far for uniform matchups here in week eight, got all the jerseys, missing a few pants:

New this week is a memorial patch on the front of the Seattle Seahawks jersey in honour of team owner Paul Allen who died earlier this month. The patch features Allen’s initials PGA with the Seahawks “12th Man” flag flying above them.

As for uniform matchup of the week? Gotta go with the L.A. Rams wearing their blue-and-yellow throwback beauts against the Packers in their always classic set.

Honourable mention to any game where the Carolina Panthers are wearing their alternate blue tops, the opponent is irrelevant.
