Folks, to be honest, I forgot leaks were possible for anything other than an NBA City Uniform.
Thanks to a post on Icethetics we have learned that the NHL International Shop has posted the new, yet-to-be-released alternate uniforms for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Los Angeles Kings. These uniforms were still up on the shop when I checked a few minutes ago but clicking on any of the items produced a message saying they were out of stock.
The Lightning uniform is the biggest story of the bunch, the team is sticking with the black for their third but going all black. Aside from the white logo on the chest, the uniform features only shades of black and grey with the tonal shoulder patch (ala Carolina Hurricanes) and static pattern on each sleeve. We’re unsure how the name and numbers will look but I’m guessing they’ll be white like the main logo on the front.

And here’s the jersey still up on the NHL International Shop:
The Kings and Leafs are both bringing back old looks so forgive the lack of coverage here, the Kings a gold-free version of their 50th anniversary jersey from 2017 and the Leafs in their 1920s St. Pats throwbacks which were also previously worn in 2017.
I’ve been told the Leafs uniform is not a true third jersey, officially classified as a throwback or classic which means they will only be worn 2-6 times this season.
