And then there was one…
The Indiana Pacers today announced they were adding an advertisement patch to all of their jerseys, the logo for telecommunications company Motorola will be present beginning with the Pacers game tonight at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers and will continue to be worn for all Pacers games through at least the end of the 2019-20 season.
On the jerseys, the Motorola logo is recoloured to match the Pacers colours depending on jersey.
With the announcement, the Oklahoma City Thunder are now the only team remaining in the NBA to not wear an advertisement patch on their in-game uniforms. It also, by default, instantly propels the Thunder into the top spot of best NBA uniforms rankings. De-fault, the two sweetest words in the English language.
Here’s the current list of NBA teams and their jersey advertisements. As always, the cool kids are in bold.
