It would seem that 2019 is the year of the giant black-and-white team logo at the All-Star Game… let’s hope Major League Baseball doesn’t get any ideas.
Posted to Twitter by user @JosmanSuri, the 2019 NBA All-Star Game jersey was apparently put out for sale a wee bit early at a Nike store. The photograph shows a large black-and-white logo on a black jersey with red/white/blue trim around the collar and arms and three red stars up each side of the jersey.
Further back on the rack you can barely make out the top corner of a white version of this same template.
SportsLogos.Net is able to confirm this leak as legit.
The design combines a couple of previous NBA All-Star uniforms, the giant black-and-white logos, of course, was used last year at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles; the base template with the red/white/blue trim and stars running up the side are similar to what was worn at the 2015 All-Star Game.
We’re not quite sure when the uniforms will be officially unveiled by the NBA, the 2019 NBA All-Star Game will be played in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 17, 2019.
