In preparation for its first season in four decades, the Boise State baseball team unveiled new uniforms on Thursday afternoon.
The Broncos will have home cream uniform, which features the team nickname in blue with an orange outline across the chest; a road grey set with “Boise State” prominently displayed; and blue and orange alternate jerseys that can be worn at home or on the road. While the cream, gray and blue jerseys are button-down tops, the orange is a pullover with a retro “Broncos” script used on the football team’s helmets from 1997-2001.
Each Nike jersey has the number font used throughout the athletic department and the Mountain West Conference logo on the left sleeve, while all but the blue top have the team’s primary logo on the right sleeve. The hat is also blue and features the same logo.
Boise State — which discontinued its baseball program in 1980 — will resume play on Feb. 25, 2020, at Washington. That will be followed three days later by an 11-game homestand.
