Like last year, the Miami Dolphins will once again wear throwback uniforms. Unlike last year, they’ll be the white variety.
Announced Saturday via the various social media accounts of Dolphins President Tom Garfinkel, the uniforms are similar to the white versions of what the Dolphins wore up through 1986 before the team reduced their sleeve striping in ’87. They were last worn as a throwback during the Thanksgiving game in 2003, a 40-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
As is the case with all NFL jerseys in 2019, the NFL 100 logo will be worn on the collar.
So far, the Dolphins have only announced one game in which they will wear the new white throwbacks, Week Two at home game against the New England Patriots on September 15.
