The Miami Marlins will be throwing back for an entire weekend later this month when they wear the uniforms of the 1990s Florida Marlins.
Opting for the sleeveless pinstriped version of their former home uniforms, the Marlins will don the classic threads for three against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Marlins Park from July 26-28, 2019.
The Marlins, who were then known as the Florida Marlins, originally wore this white vest/black undershirt combo from 1996-2002 – officially it was listed as the club’s home alternate uniform, the version without sleeves was the official home set.
Miami last wore throwbacks to their days in teal in June 2018 against the San Diego Padres, for that series the team wore the sleeved white jerseys paired with the teal cap from 1993.
