Anyone out there know a good plumber? The NBA could use one. Fast.
There’s been yet another leak out of the association, this time it’s the Philadelphia 76ers who had one of their new looks for the 2019-20 season posted early to Twitter (and then to Reddit and back again once that original Tweet was deleted).
The photo shows a new 76ers uniform, navy blue (same shade as the American flag, perhaps?), with a Philadelphia wordmark scripted across the front in white, the player’s number below in white with a red drop shadow. Around the collar, arms, and at the end of the shorts is a navy blue/white/red striping pattern.
Up the side of the uniform, starting at the shorts and moving up to the armpit is a gold line which looks to resemble the crack in Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell — this suspicion gains further credibility with the inclusion of the bell on the waistband of the shorts. Certainly an interesting addition to the 76ers overall look!
The 76ers join the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat as other NBA teams to have their new uniforms leaked in the past week.
