The National Hockey League unveiled its logo for the 2020 NHL All-Star Game, to be played on January 26, 2020 in St. Louis. It’ll be the first time the St. Louis Blues have hosted an NHL All-Star Game since 1988 and the first time a defending Stanley Cup Champion has hosted since the Oilers played host in 1989.
While the Blues’ famous Bluenote logo is nowhere to be seen in the logo, there are a couple of references to the host team in the mark — two brass horns are included at the top of the shield and a great use of negative space in the lettering for “ALL” in “ALL STAR” gives us three piano keys. Naturally, the Gateway Arch is in there, at the very bottom with a single star below it.

The music theme carries on onto the secondary and wordmark logos, the brass horn used as a frame on most of the marks, the Gateway Arch on the others.
The 2020 edition will be the 65th NHL All-Star Game and third overall hosted by the City of St. Louis, the first in 32 years (previous: 1970, 1988). The Skills Competition will take place on January 25th with the main event, again expected to be the three-game mini-tournament format, taking place on Sunday, January 26th.
