Logo Revealed for 2020 NHL Stadium Series in Colorado

The National Hockey League today unveiled the logo for the 2020 NHL Stadium Series game to take place outdoors at Air Force Academy in Colorado on February 15, 2020, between the Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche. Due to a naming rights deal, the official name of the game is the 2020 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series.

With design courtesy the NHL creative services department, the logo resembles the shape of the U.S. Air Force Academy class crests designed by each graduating class. At the top of the logo, a jet is seen flying past Cadet Chapel, located on the academy campus.

Uniforms for the event will be unveiled at a later date.

The 2020 NHL Stadium Series will be the 11th outdoor game played as part of this series since the 2013-14 season; the Los Angeles Kings previously took part in two Stadium Series games losing to the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium in 2014 and defeating the San Jose Sharks at Levi’s Stadium in 2015. Colorado hosted a Stadium Series game in 2016, losing to Detroit.
