With festivities kicking off this afternoon and games stretching well into the new year, college football bowl season truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
With that said, we’ve compiled a list of every uniform and bowl patch that has been unveiled thus far — and we’ll continue to update this list as teams reveal their uniform combinations, presumably in the days leading up to their respective games.
What follows is the most up-to-date list of bowl game uniforms:
Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl
Buffalo vs. Charlotte • Nassau, Bahamas • Dec. 20 at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN
The first game of bowl season pits Buffalo in its standard white road uniform against Charlotte in green jerseys with a chrome gold helmet and gold pants.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe Bowl
Utah State vs. Kent State • Frisco, TX • Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2
Kent State will wear gold jerseys and helmets against Utah State in gray jerseys and blue helmets, giving us the first color-vs-color matchup of bowl season in the renamed Frisco Bowl.
Celebration Bowl
Alcorn State vs. North Carolina A&T • Atlanta, GA • Dec. 21 at noon on ABC
North Carolina A&T is set to wear a blue helmet, dark gray jersey and blue pants in the only non-FBS bowl game of the year. Alcorn State will counter with gold helmets and jerseys.
New Mexico Bowl
Central Michigan vs. San Diego State • Albuquerque, NM • Dec. 21 at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN
The sponsor-less New Mexico Bowl will have San Diego State in its standard home uniform against Central Michigan in its standard road set.
FBC Mortgage Bowl
Cure Liberty vs. Georgia Southern • Orlando, FL • Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. on CBSSN
Georgia Southern will match its standard home uniform with pink helmet decals against Liberty in the newly sponsored Cure Bowl.
Cheribundi Boca Raton
SMU vs. Florida Atlantic • Boca Raton, FL • Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. on ABC
Although the school’s social media account is encouraging fans to wear blue to the Boca Raton Bowl, SMU will wear its white road uniforms against Florida Atlantic, which will wear its red alternate jersey.
Camellia Bowl
FIU vs. Arkansas State • Montgomery, AL • Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN
Arkansas State will wear its black home uniform with a red helmet in the Camellia Bowl against Florida International, which will don all-white.
Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl
No. 19 Boise State vs. Washington • Las Vegas, NV • Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. on ABC
Washington will wear its purple home jersey in the Las Vegas Bowl against Boise State, which will be outfitted in white.
R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
No. 20 Appalachian State vs. UAB • New Orleans, LA • Dec. 21 at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN
Appalachian State will wear all-white while UAB will be in green jerseys and white helmets in the New Orleans Bowl.
Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl
UCF vs. Marshall • Tampa, FL • Dec. 23 at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN
UCF will be outfitted in gray uniforms and a black helmet with a special helmet decal that pulls inspiration from Florida’s state flag, while Marshall will wear its standard home uniform is the Gasparilla Bowl.
SoFi Hawai’i Bowl
Hawai’i vs. BYU • Honolulu, HI • Dec. 24 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN
Despite playing in its own stadium, Hawai’i will wear its white road jersey against BYU, which will be outfitted in its retro royal blue jerseys as the designated home team in the Hawai’i Bowl. .
Walk-On’s Independence Bowl
Louisiana Tech vs. Miami (FL) • Shreveport, LA • Dec. 26 at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN
Louisiana Tech will wear its standard white uniform when it meets Miami (FL) in the Independence Bowl.
Quick Lane Bowl
Pitt vs. Eastern Michigan • Detroit, MI • Dec. 26 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN
Eastern Michigan will be considered the home team when it meets Pitt in the Quick Lane Bowl in nearby Detroit.
Military Bowl
North Carolina vs. Temple • Annapolis, MD • Dec. 27 at noon on ESPN
Temple shared a brief video on social media of the Military Bowl patch being sewn onto its cherry red home uniforms, while North Carolina announced it will wear a Carolina blue helmet, white jersey and Carolina blue pants.
New Era Pinstripe Bowl
Michigan State vs. Wake Forest • Bronx, NY • Dec. 27 at 3:20 p.m. on ESPN
Wake Forest will wear its standard home uniform with a chrome gold helmet in the Pinstripe Bowl against Michigan State, which will be designated the road team.
Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl
No. 25 Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M • Houston, TX • Dec. 27 at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN
Texas A&M will wear its standard home jerseys in the Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State, which will wear its all-white road uniforms.
SDCCU Holiday Bowl
No. 22 USC vs. No. 16 Iowa • San Diego, CA • Dec. 27 at 8:00 p.m. on FS1
The Holiday Bowl matchup will pit Iowa in its standard home uniform against USC in its standard road set, though the Hawkeyes will honor late former head coach Hayden Fry with a special helmet design.
Cheez-It Bowl
Air Force vs. Washington State • Phoenix, AZ • Dec. 27 at 10:15 p.m. on ESPN
Washington State will wear its crimson home jersey in the Cheez-It Bowl against Air Force, which will be outfitted in its white road jersey.
Goodyear Cotton Bowl
No. 17 Memphis vs. No. 10 Penn State • Arlington, TX • Dec. 28 at noon on ESPN
Penn State will wear its blue jerseys as the home team in the Cotton Bowl against Memphis, which will be in its gray alternate jersey.
Camping World Bowl
No. 15 Notre Dame vs. Iowa State • Orlando, FL • Dec. 28 at noon on ABC
Iowa State will pair its cardinal home jersey with its black helmet for the Camping World Bowl matchup with Notre Dame.
Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
No. 4 Oklahoma vs. No. 1 LSU • Atlanta, GA • Dec. 28 at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN
As is tradition, LSU will wear its white uniform despite being the higher-ranked team in the Peach Bowl against Oklahoma. The Sooners will counter with their standard home set, as well.
PlayStation Fiesta Bowl
No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 2 Ohio State • Glendale, AZ • Dec. 28 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN
Ohio State will wear the home version of its 1968 throwback uniforms in the Fiesta Bowl against Clemson, which will most certainly break out orange britches with its white road jersey.
SERVPRO First Responder Bowl
Western Kentucky vs. Western Michigan • Fort Worth, TX • Dec. 30 at 12:30 p.m. on ESPN
Western Kentucky will be in its white road uniforms with chrome helmets in the First Responders Bowl against Western Michigan, which will wear its standard home uniform.
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl
Mississippi State vs. Louisville • Nashville, TN • Dec. 30 at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN
Louisville will wear its red home uniforms with black helmets and pants in the Music City Bowl against Mississippi State, which will be outfitted in its all-white set.
Redbox Bowl
Cal vs. Illinois • Santa Clara, CA • Dec. 30 at 4:00 p.m. on FOX
Illinois will wear orange uniforms and pants with a white helmet in the Redbox Bowl against Cal, which will don its standard road set.
Capital One Orange Bowl
No. 9 Florida vs. No. 24 Virginia • Miami Gardens, FL • Dec. 30 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN
Another color-vs-color matchup with have Florida it is blue jerseys against Virginia in its orange set in the Orange Bowl.
Belk Bowl
Virginia Tech vs. Kentucky • Charlotte, NC • Dec. 31 at noon on ESPN
Kentucky will do all-blue uniforms with its chrome helmet against Virginia Tech in white jerseys with maroon helmets and pants in the Belk Bowl.
Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl
Florida State vs. Arizona State • El Paso, TX • Dec. 31 at 2:00 p.m. on CBS
Arizona State will wear its heather gray alternate jersey against Florida State in the Sun Bowl, which is now sponsored by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and Tony The Tiger. The Seminoles will wear their standard road set, meanwhile.
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
No. 23 Navy vs. Kansas State • Memphis, TN • Dec. 31 at 3:45 p.m. on ESPN
As has been the case in recent years, Navy will wear its uniforms from the Army-Navy Game in the Liberty Bowl against Kansas State, paying homage to the 1960-63 Midshipmen. The Wildcats will counter that with all-white uniforms.
NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl
Georgia State vs. Wyoming • Tucson, AZ • Dec. 31 at 4:30 p.m. on CBSSN
The Arizona Bowl will pit Georgia State in its standard blue home jerseys against Wyoming in its white road set.
Valero Alamo Bowl
No. 11 Utah vs. Texas • San Antonio, TX • Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN
Texas will be wearing its burnt orange home set in the Alamo Bowl against Utah, which will don red helmets, white jerseys and black pants.
Outback Bowl
No. 18 Minnesota vs. No. 12 Auburn • Tampa, FL • Jan. 1 at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN
Auburn will wear its standard home uniform with a tribute to 1971 Heisman winner Pat Sullivan with a special helmet design in the Outback Bowl against Minnesota, which will wear its chrome helmet and maroon pants with its white road jersey.
Vrbo Citrus Bowl
No. 14 Michigan vs. No. 13 Alabama • Orlando, FL • Jan. 1 at 1:00 p.m. on ABC
Alabama will be in its standard home jersey and Michigan will be in its standard road set in this classic uniform matchup at the Citrus Bowl.
Rose Bowl Game Bowl
No. 6 Oregon vs. No. 8 Wisconsin • Pasadena, CA • Jan. 1 at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN
Oregon will wear its nightmare green uniforms with a new silver chrome helmet that features green wings as a nod to their win over Wisconsin in the 2012 Rose Bowl. The Badgers, meanwhile, will wear their white road uniforms.
Allstate Sugar Bowl
No. 5 Georgia vs. No. 7 Baylor • New Orleans, LA • Jan. 1 at 8:45 p.m. on ESPN
Georgia will be the designated road team and wear its white jerseys in the Sugar Bowl against Baylor, which will be in all-green.
TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl
Boston College vs. No. 21 Cincinnati • Birmingham, AL • Jan. 2 at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN
Cincinnati will wear black uniforms as the designated home team in the Birmingham Bowl, white Boston College will wear white jerseys with maroon pants.
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl
Indiana vs. Tennessee • Jacksonville, FL • Jan. 2 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN
Playing in its first postseason game in three years, Indiana will wear it white road jerseys against Tennessee’s orange tops in the Gator Bowl.
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
Ohio vs. Nevada • Boise, ID • Jan. 3 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN
Ohio will wear its white jersey as the designated road team in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Nevada, which will don all-gray.
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Southern Miss vs. Tulane • Fort Worth, TX • Jan. 4 at 11:30 am ESPN
Tulane will wear camouflage helmet decals and its light blue jerseys in the Armed Forces Bowl against Southern Miss, which will don flag-themed helmet decals and its road white set.
LendingTree Bowl
Louisiana vs. Miami (OH) • Mobile, AL • Jan. 6 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN
Miami will wear its red home jersey with a white helmet that features a script font while Louisiana will don its white road jerseys with its standard Vermilion helmet in the LendingTree Bowl.
CFP National Championship
Clemson vs. LSU • New Orleans, LA • Jan. 13 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN
Both teams will be in their respective home uniforms, as LSU will don white jerseys and Clemson will wear all-orange in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
