The Central Baptist College athletic department recently unveiled an updated brand identity that includes a refreshed primary logo and new secondary mark.
“Anytime you make changes, it starts a new chapter,” athletic director Lyle Middleton said in a statement. “While the logo is an exciting new change, it’s symbolic purpose is the same. The new logo marks the continuation of a commitment to success in all athletic programs and college endeavors.”
Central Baptist College’s updated primary logo keeps the same overall look as the one introduced in 2012, but includes a simplification of colors, the reversal of the horse’s mane and the addition of a pupil. The Mustangs also revealed a complementary front-facing secondary mark.
A private liberal arts college located in Conway, Arkansas, Central Baptist College fields 13 varsity and three junior varsity sports in the American Midwest Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Mustangs’ softball program has produced the only national titles in school history, winning the National Christian College Athletic Association tournament in 2010 and 2018.
