The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Tuesday they’ll wear their teal jerseys with teal pants for the first time in franchise history during Thursday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Jacksonville went 23 years without having teal pants as an option, but added them to the rotation with a new uniform design ahead of the 2018 season. The Jaguars are 1-3 in teal pants in the meantime, with their lone win coming at home against the Indianapolis Colts in the final week of 2019.
The decision to wear this specific uniform combination comes as a reward for the more than 5,000 fans who shared the following tweet from Jacksonville’s Twitter account on Tuesday morning.
Kickoff for the Jaguars’ Thursday Night Football matchup with the Dolphins is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Those who attend the game are encouraged to wear teal, as well.
