The Los Angeles Chargers will wear their navy blue Color Rush uniform for the first time during today’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders (4:05 p.m. ET on FOX).
The Chargers unveiled the navy blue Color Rush uniform back in April alongside their new home, road and royal blue Color Rush uniforms. It pays homage to the franchise’s past in San Diego, as they wore navy blue as their primary home look from 1988-2016, as well as their first two seasons back in Los Angeles.
The Color Rush uniform features a white helmet with navy blue bolts outlined in gold and navy blue numbers on both sides, as well as a navy blue facemask. The jersey and pants are both navy blue with bolts that mimic the helmet, while the numbers are white with a gold outline.
The navy blue Color Rush uniform will make another appearance later this month when the Chargers travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills on Nov. 29. They’ll also wear their royal blue Color Rush uniform against the Atlanta Falcons on Dec. 13.
