NFL Wildcard Saturday Uniform Matchups

The 2020 NFL Playoffs kickoff (it really is the easiest pun) this afternoon with three games from the wildcard round. Here we’re just giving you a preview of what the six teams will be wearing as they take the field and begin their conquest for a Super Bowl LV championship next month in Tampa Bay.

Displayed below in order of when the game is played:

BUFFALO VS INDIANAPOLIS

Believe it or not, this is the first Buffalo Bills home playoff game in the history of this website. We launched nearly 24 years ago during the summer of 1997, the Bills last played at home in the playoffs seven months before that, on December 28, 1996, a 30-27 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Buffalo will mark the return of playoff football to Upstate New York by wearing their blue jerseys paired with white pants. Their opponents from Indianapolis (whose last home playoff game was six years ago) will be wearing their all white uniform.

The Bills are 3-0 during the 2020 season when wearing blue on white, the Colts are 5-2 in their all whites.

SEATTLE VS LOS ANGELES

The host Seattle Seahawks are naturally going with their head-to-toe Seahawks Blue uniforms trimmed with neon green. The LA Rams, meanwhile, have chosen a uniform combo they’ve never worn with their new design, the bone-white tops with blue pants. Looks good in the graphic above, let’s see how that translates to the field.

Seattle is 6-1 when wearing their all blue uniforms during the 2020 season, the Rams, as mentioned, are making their bone and blue début (yes, that rhymes so perfectly!)

WASHINGTON VS TAMPA BAY

The Saturday evening game has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visiting the sub-.500 division champion Washington Football Team in Landover, Maryland. The Washington team will opt to wear their all-whites at home while Tampa Bay counters with their best-looking current combo, the red jersey with pewter pants.

Washington is 3-0 in 2020 when wearing all white (and 4-9 when wearing anything else), the Bucs are 2-2 in red on pewter (9-3 in anything else).

Check back tomorrow when we’ll have your 2020 NFL Wildcard Sunday uniform matchups.
