This week, Paul and I try to fix the mess that is the NBA’s current state of team uniforms. With every team having anywhere between four to six uniforms, with half of those replaced every single year and often not resembling the team’s identity in any way it’s not uncommon to turn on a game and have no idea who’s playing. That’s no good. We tackle this issue and try to come up with a compromise that allows the league to continue it’s multi-uniform ways but helps the fan recognize their own team.
We also look at the 2021 NBA All-Star Game and what the players could be wearing for that, the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year patch, and the New York Yankees who will be breaking a longstanding team tradition on their uniforms this season.
