It’s all coming together for German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and their new home kit for the 2021-22 season.
The reigning DFB-Pokal champions released the Puma-manufactured kit on Friday, May 21, with the club touting that it was “alles für unseren Moment” — “all for our moment.”
The base of the jersey features BVB’s signature shade of yellow, and adds diagonal black stripes on the sleeves. A block on the shoulders is solid black, as are the sleeve cuffs.
“The moments that we experience together as fans, as a team, as a club: that’s what defines us. That is what we strive for. Everything for our BVB, everything in black and yellow!” exclaims the club’s website (translated from German to English by Google).
Puma has produced shorts and socks in both black and yellow to go along with the jersey. Promotional photos released Friday all show players wearing black shorts and yellow socks, so presumably that would be the first choice, but the team can mix and match to avoid clashes with opponents.
