Sly Foxes: Leicester City Unveil New Home Kit Just Hours Before Season Finale

Premier League side Leicester City pulled off a slick move on Sunday, May 23, unveiling their 2021-22 home kit just hours before wearing it in their last game of the 2020-21 season against Tottenham Hotspur.

Other Premier League clubs had released new jerseys for 2021-22 in the days leading up to the last two matchdays, but Leicester was the only one to do so on the same day as their season finale.

The base of the new jersey, produced by adidas, is blue with a camouflage pattern similar to what Olympique Lyonnais unveiled for their red away kit earlier this week. The collars and sleeve cuffs are white trimmed with gold piping. The adidas logo and shoulder stripes are both white.

This jersey is the first to feature the club’s new main shirt sponsor: FBS Trade Online. According to Leicester City’s website, FBS is “one of the world’s fastest-growing financial services companies” with more than 16 million customers worldwide.

The shorts that go along with the 2021-22 home jersey are white with blue adidas stripes, and the socks are blue with white accents.
