While many European football clubs release their kits for the new season one at a time, La Liga side CA Osasuna ripped the band-aid off this week, unveiling all three of their kits for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
After sticking with traditional colours and gold accents to celebrate the club’s centennial season in 2020-21, the Pamplona-based side and adidas have gone a bit wild for 2021-22. While the home kit will be their traditional red shirt with blue accents, socks and shorts, the away kit features a green tonal gradient and the third kit is neon pink with cyan trim.
The red home kit features a navy blue collar, sleeve cuffs and adidas logo. There are also navy blue blocks on the shoulders, which red adidas stripes run through. The logo of the Government of Navarre appears on the back collar, recognizing the area of Spain where the club is based.
The away kit is a tribute to Pamplona, taking cues from the flag of the club’s home city. The dark green at the top of the shirt fades into a lighter shade of green, which carries into the shorts and socks. The collar and sleeve cuffs are navy blue, while the adidas logo, adidas shoulder stripes and monochromatic club crest are all white.
Osasuna then cranks up the colour to 11 on their third kit, which they call the “most trangressive” of the three on their website (translated into English by Google). The shirt features a solid neon pink base with cyan side panels, and a halftone pattern moving from cyan to pink appears on the sleeves. The adidas logo, adidas shoulder stripes and monochromatic club crest on the shirt are all cyan, and the shorts and socks are pink with cyan accents.
The club also gave a glimpse at their three goalkeeper kit options for 2021-22, all based on adidas’s Condivo 21 template:
