After unveiling their home kit earlier this week, perennial Portuguese Primeira Liga contenders FC Porto followed up with their new away kit for 2021-22 on Friday.
Manufactured by New Balance, the kit features a two-tone blue speckle pattern on the front. The NB logo, club crest and front sponsor logo are all rendered in metallic gold. The raglan sleeves are solid navy blue, as are the sleeve cuffs, which also feature a gold streak.
The back of the jersey is solid navy blue and features the club wordmark on the back collar and another sponsor logo in metallic gold.
FC Porto’s website says the kit is a “nod to the vibrancy and tradition of the contemporary city.” It also mentions “matching shorts” that will go along with the jersey.
“It’s great to see such a striking design. The shirt has a real feeling of heritage and I’m certain it will please the fans,” said forward Mehdi Taremi.
UPDATE (June 30, 2021): FC Porto have also released a third kit for 2021-22. It’s pale pink with black trim on the collar and cuffs. The pink shade is “inspired by Porto’s artistic and bohemian neighbourhoods,” according to the club’s website. The shirt will be worn with black shorts.
