After having its contract with Under Armour terminated the offseason, the UCLA athletic department signed a lucrative deal with Nike and Jordan Brand. And now with the season fast approaching, the Bruins’ football program has unveiled its new uniforms – complete with the Jumpman logo on the jersey and pants.
The uniforms aren’t much different than what the Bruins wore with Under Armour but appear much cleaner thanks to the Vapor Untouchable template, as UCLA’s patented shoulder stripes cut off at the seam running across the chest and back rather than extending all the way to the armpits. The shade of gold also appears much more consistent throughout the uniform.
Both the home light blue and road white jerseys have the same number font as before, with the former being gold outlined in white and the latter being solid light blue. The TV numbers also remain on the sleeves.
The uniform is capped off with a gold helmet that includes a gold facemask, UCLA’s script logo on both sides and a cursive Bruins wordmark on both bumpers, as well as gold pants and light blue socks.
UCLA’s new Jordan Brand uniforms will make their on-field debut when the Bruins host Hawai’i on Aug. 28.
