SSC Napoli Releases Spooktacular Special Edition Halloween Jerseys

Italian Serie A side SSC Napoli is looking to give their opponents a real fright this October with a special edition Halloween kit.

The club debuted the new jerseys, manufactured by Emporio Armani, on Sunday, Oct. 17, in a Serie A match against Torino FC. They are predominantly black, with a white spiderweb pattern all over the front of the shirt.

The crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs are solid black, while the club crest and the sponsor logos appear in their normal colors. The Emporio Armani logo is white with a red outline.

The shorts and socks that go along with the jersey are solid black. The lettering and numbering on the shorts and the back of the jersey are red with white outlines.

The kits brought some good mojo, as Napoli beat Torino 1-0. They’ll be worn a second time when Napoli host Bologna FC on Thursday, Oct. 28.

In addition to the Halloween kits, Napoli have broken out variations on their 2021-22 home and away kits in recent weeks for matches in the UEFA Europa League. Each retains the respective base color from league matches — sky blue at home and red away — but swaps out the accent colour on the shoulders, collar and cuffs for gold.

Napoli’s 2021-22 third kit is white with gold accents in both domestic and European play.

There are also rumours of a possible fourth jersey on the way for Napoli this season. According to Footy Headlines, this would incorporate the flame design from the club’s goalkeeper kits in tones of blue with gold accents for outfield players to wear.
