The Wisconsin basketball program announced it will wear new player-designed uniforms for its Dec. 4 game against Marquette (12:30 p.m. ET on FOX).
The white Under Armour uniforms were designed by seniors Lorne Bowman, Ben Carlson, Johnny Davis, Jordan Davis and Tyler Wahl and pull inspiration from some of the Badgers’ previous uniform sets.
The jerseys feature a white “UW” wordmark and numbers outlined in cardinal, as well as a checkered pattern on the collar, back of the arm holes and bottom of the shorts.
The look is complete with a contrasting waistband featuring the Motion “W” and a vintage Wisconsin logo with a strutting Bucky Badger under the back collar and on both sides of the shorts.
This is the second season in a row the Badgers have worn player-designed uniforms, as last year’s team donned an off-white set that including a cursive “Wisconsin Badgers” wordmark across the chest, asymmetrical stripes and an oversized “W” enclosed within a circle on the shorts.
