The Dallas Stars are holding their annual “Texas Rangers Night” tonight (January 18, 2022) at American Airlines Center and you know what that means… commemorative crossover jerseys!
Yes, we’re getting to see a hockey version of a baseball jersey. During their pre-game warm-up skate before taking on the Montreal Canadiens, Stars players will wear powder blue jerseys with the scripted “Rangers” logo that usually appears across the buttoned-up chest of the Major League Baseball club’s home white and alternate powder blue jerseys.
The Rangers’ alternate “TX” State of Texas logo will be worn on the left shoulder; a re-coloured version of the Stars’ own State of Texas logo will be on the right.

The hardcore uniform fans out there will note the unusualness of seeing an Adidas logo on the front of a Texas Rangers branded jersey; of course, the Rangers wear a Nike logo on the front of their uniforms.
The Dallas Stars have worn Texas Rangers warm-up jerseys twice before, both featuring the arched “TEXAS” wordmark. First in 2019, when they wore blue:
