The Los Angeles Lakers may have missed their shot at the 2022 NBA Playoffs but they did top the charts in at least one category this year.
NBA Merchandise Sales.
Over the course of the second half of the 2021-22 NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers merchandise sold more than any other team in the league on the NBA.com Shop, despite the team’s less-than-stellar performance on the court. The Lakers came out on top ahead of the runner-up Philadelphia 76ers, the third-place Golden State Warriors, and the Chicago Bulls in fourth.
