Since last season, the Triple-A Nashville Sounds have hosted Hit City Saturdays, a weekly promotion that highlights not just the musical hits associated with the town, but hits associated with culture, food, and of course, the baseball team.
The team announced this week that the for the first time, the team will incorporate the logo associated with the Hit City Saturdays promotion into its uniforms. The logo features the Nashville skyline and half of a guitar shape that evokes the team’s iconic scoreboard, separated by the block text, HIT CITY.
The uniforms will appear in forthcoming games on June 11, June 21, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13, September 3, and September 17.
