Clubs from France, Italy and Other Leagues Around Europe Release New 2022-23 Kits

It’s been another hectic couple of days when it comes to European football clubs unveiling new kits for the 2022-23 season. In addition to the kits from Spain, England and Germany that we covered yesterday, another 18 kits have been unveiled by 12 clubs in six countries. Take a look at all the new shirts below …

OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE – Home

French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille have gone back to basics with their home kit for 2022-23, made by Puma. The jersey is solid white, and the trim around the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs is blue — a darker blue, it would seem, than the shade used in recent years. Part of the coat of arms for the City of Marseille is printed inside the collar.

OGC NICE – Home, Away and Third

Marseille’s Ligue 1 counterparts OGC Nice got all their kit business out of the way early, unveiling their 2022-23 home, away and third kits this week. The home kit maintains their traditional motif of red and black vertical stripes, though this edition sees the red stripes face to black near the bottom of the shirt on the left side and near the top on the right side. The away kit is mostly white, with two black stripes and one red stripe running down the center of the front of the shirt. The third kit is purple and orange, with a jagged line splitting the two colours down the right side of the shirt. Orange stripes run down the left side.

ESTAC TROYES – Home and Away

The 2022-23 home kit for Ligue 1 side ESTAC Troyes, made by Le Coq Sportif, is royal blue with tonal vertical stripes woven right into the fabric. The only other embellishments — aside from the sponsor logos — are the white sleeve cuffs. The away kits are white, again with tonal stripes woven into the fabric. The rounded collar features blue trim, and the sleeve cuffs are white, though the left cuff has an added blue stripe.

ANGERS SCO – Home and Away

Ligue 1 side Angers SCO are ready to “defend the diamond” in their 2022-23 home and away kits, made by Kappa. The home kit is predominantly black, with white sleeve cuffs and a triangular shape cutting off the white vertical stripes. The away kit is white with gold sleeve cuffs and a gold insert at the back of the collar. Black and gold streaks start at the club crest on the left chest and run across to the lower right side of the shirt.

HELLAS VERONA – Home

Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona pays tribute to its hometown with its 2022-23 home kit, made by Macron. The front of the blue kit features a tonal cross with silhouettes of the club crest running through it. This is a nod to the flag of the city of Verona, a yellow cross on a blue background. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are yellow, as are the Macron logo and the club crest on the chest.
