The Memphis Grizzlies haven’t yet released their new Statement Edition uniform for the 2022-23 NBA season, but why should that stop you from being able to buy one?
Yes, the all-new Grizzlies jersey was spotted for sale on the Nike Spain shop earlier today (still up there, as of the time I’m writing this), which great high-res photos of both the front and back.
Here it is:
The jersey, which had been leaked previously via a NBA 2K23 video game trailer, is powder blue with the team name arched across the chest in split navy blue lettering – Memphis above that in gold. Player number is in the same split-letter style as the team name, front and back, player name is placed below the number on the back in navy blue.
Up each side of the jersey is the “MEM” shipping container pattern the Grizzlies have used since their last big rebranding back in 2018, this same pattern is used as a trim around the neck.
This new jersey replaces what their existing powder blue option, which had been their Statement Edition uniform for the past five seasons.
