Florida Panthers Add AutoNation Advertisement to Road Sweater

The Florida Panthers this week became the twelfth NHL team to announce they would be wearing an advertisement on their in-game jerseys during the 2022-23 season.

Florida will wear the logo of AutoNation on their road white sweaters only. AutoNation is a South Florida company founded by original Panthers owner Wayne Huizenga. The AutoNation logo will be presented in navy blue rather than the usual black and pink in order to better match the Panthers’ team colours.

The Panthers become the first NHL team to announce a road-jersey-only advertisement deal; the club is still on the hunt for a home jersey advertiser. The Panthers also become the first team to wear both an advertisement and a commemorative patch on one sweater as they are also wearing a patch noting their hosting of the 2023 All-Star Game.
