The iconic Starter satin jacket of the 1980s and ’90s is back.
This morning, Homage launched a new line of NFL-licensed Starter-branded satin jackets for 33 teams (the 32 active clubs plus the Houston Oilers). They’re based on the original designs that were part of the first wave of sports merch that found itself creeping off the field and into pop culture four decades ago.
“Inspired by the classic designs of the 80s and early 90s, HOMAGE x Starter Satin Jackets are built for the sidelines,” says the company, “With all the classic details of the original: full-snap buttons, slip pockets, elbow stripes, and the essential custom interior patch. Pay homage.”

Many of the designs in Homage’s satin Starter line feature retro team logos on the upper left breast of the button-up jackets, including the Dolphins, Jets, Eagles, Broncos, Buccaneers, Chargers, Lions, Patriots, and quite a few more.
New(er) identities are here, too, such as the Texans, Titans, Commanders, Jaguars, and Panthers, who are all much younger than the heyday of the Starter jacket.
