The last two holdouts among Major League Soccer clubs finally released their new kits for 2023 on Saturday, both primary looks. Here’s a quick look at Orlando City and Toronto FC’s new jerseys:
ORLANDO CITY – Primary
Orlando City’s new primary kit is inspired by The Wall, the safe-standing supporters’ section in Exploria Stadium. The front of the purple jersey is covered in tapering tonal lines arranged to resemble bricks. The collar and sleeve cuffs are purple with gold trim. The Adidas shoulder stripes and sponsor logos are also gold. The back is solid purple, as are the side panels.
TORONTO FC – Primary
Toronto FC is looking to capture the heartbeat of their fans with their new primary kit. Dark grey and light grey horizontal stripes run across the front of the shirt, with narrow red stripes at the top and bottom of the dark grey stripes. The shoulders and sleeves are red, with dark grey Adidas stripes and sleeve cuffs. The crew neck collar is dark grey with red trim on the sides, and the back is solid dark grey with red side panels. The stripes running down the sides and across the back hem are red, with a grey soundwave pattern running through them.
Eagle-eyed readers of these recaps over the past few days will note that CF Montréal was not listed among the teams unveiling new jerseys. Montréal announced earlier this month that they would delay the release of their 2023 primary jersey to allow for more consultation with Indigenous groups on an inscription in an Indigenous language to be included on the jersey.

However, on Saturday, Footy Headlines uncovered a possible leak of the jersey. Their photo shows a mostly blue kit with chevrons consisting of tapering lines forming black vertical stripes on the front of the shirt. The Adidas shoulder stripes are white, as is the side striping, while the side panels are black.
