Major League Baseball players and coaches will again all wear jersey number 42 in honour of Jackie Robinson Day this year on Saturday, April 15th.
This season, as was also the case in 2022, will have all #42 jersey numbers in Dodger blue and the Dodgers’ style numbering regardless of what each team’s typical colour scheme is. It appears there will not be a special sleeve patch for the event this season, likely due to the addition of jersey advertisements.
Here’s a small sample of the Dodger-style numbers and colours on the jerseys of two teams that typically do not wear blue numbers:

Additionally, all players and coaches will wear a brand new #42 Jackie Robinson logo patch on the right side of their in-game caps. Take a look:
As you can see, this year’s patch design features a white home plate shape with Robinson’s #42 in blue, his signature above, and the MLB logo below.

Specially designed Jackie Robinson-themed socks will also be worn, and commemorative lineup cards and base jewels will also be used. Many teams will auction off their Jackie Robinson Day game-used items, with proceeds in many cases going to their respective charitable foundations.
“I am thrilled to be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Jackie Robinson Foundation along with the first year of our new Jackie Robinson Museum,” said Rachel Robinson in the press release from MLB. “I thank Major League Baseball, the teams, players and fans for celebrating this legacy on Saturday and throughout the year. On behalf of our family, I want to wish everyone a truly wonderful Jackie Robinson Day.”
