Today, Major League Baseball unveiled its 2023 Mother’s Day cap collection, these special caps will be worn on-field by all thirty clubs during their games played on Sunday, May 14th.
This year’s design sees each club wearing a khaki-coloured crown and visor with a pink button, per usual club logos have been recoloured pink and grey. The New Era logo on the left side is pink, the MLB logo on the back is grey/white/pink, and the undervisor is — you guessed it — pink.
New this year is the inclusion of a side patch featuring a club logo — it varies between primary logo (as we see in the Phillies example above), alternate logo, jersey logo, and cap logo on a team-by-team basis. This logo is converted to greyscale and placed on a baseball diamond filled with pink flowers.

A closer look at some of the other side-patch logos:
Above we’ve got primary logos for the Royals and Guardians, alternate logos for the Athletics, Tigers, Brewers, and Rangers, a road cap logo for the Twins, and a home jersey wordmark for the Padres. It’s nice to see a little variation here instead of a strict “every team does the same” policy (though it’s already darn close to that with this design).

Major League Baseball directs 100% of its royalties from on-field Mother’s Day socks and caps to MLB Charities, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. MLB Charities will then donate those funds to Susan G. Komen to support the organization’s mission in the fight against breast cancer.
