German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg will be on the hunt for points in new home and away kits, made by Nike, in the 2023-24 season.
Wolfsburg unveiled the new kits on their website and social media channels on Wednesday, May 24. The men’s team will wear them for the first time against Hertha Berlin on Saturday, May 27, while the women’s team will wear them against SC Freiburg on Sunday, May 28.
The home kit puts on a new spin on Wolfsburg’s traditional light green color, adding a white triangle on the bottom left corner of the front of the shirt. Outside the triangle is an area where white and light green lines intermingle in a transition from one color to the other. The club crest is rendered in green and white on the left chest, while the logos of Nike and sponsor Volkswagen appear in dark grey.
The dark grey carries over to the away kit, where it becomes the dominant color on both the front and back of the jersey. The sleeves are covered in a grey and green marble pattern. The crew neck collar and sponsor logos are all green, and the club crest is rendered in grey and green.
Both kits have a stylized version of the Wolfsburg coat of arms printed inside the collar in dark grey.
