You can’t pick your family, as the old saying goes, but you can pick your friends. And, if you’re a supporter of English football club Bolton Wanderers, you can once again help pick their kits for next season.
After “an incredible response” for the 2023-24 season, Bolton — currently playing in the EFL League One, two levels below the Premier League on the English football pyramid — have brought back their “Pick Our Kits” survey, giving supporters a say in the jerseys the club will wear in the 2024-25 season.
The survey included three home kit concepts and three away kit concepts from manufacturer Macron for fans to vote on:
Following feedback, we have brought you something a little different with the 2024/25 home kit concepts. Whilst retaining our unmistakable white and navy identity, we’ve moved away from the pared back look of recent seasons to shirts that make a statement.
For the away choices, green remains an option – this time embossed with Bolton’s famous elephant and castle. We pay homage to the Lancashire rose in our crest with a bold red choice and we’ve also included a striking purple option with a fresh, modern feel.

Participants have until 7 a.m. ET on Monday, August 14, to submit their ratings. Those taking part can either submit their votes anonymously or create a login and send more comprehensive feedback. Macron will produce the top-rated choices and the winning choices will be revealed in about a year, before the start of the 2024-25 season.
Last year’s survey resulted in rather classic looks for Bolton’s 2023-24 white home and black away kits, along with a turquoise third kit with a tonal diamond pattern and a navy blue polo collar.
