Spain’s top domestic football league, La Liga, kicked off on Friday, August 11, with a pair of matches. Rayo Vallecano defeated UD Almería 2-0, while Valencia CF defeated Sevilla FC 2-1. This is the first season for La Liga’s new visual identity, which includes a new logo, wordmark and patch worn on every team’s jersey.
