The 2023-24 Bundesliga season kicks off today (Friday, August 18) when Werder Bremen host 11-time defending champions Bayern Munich and their new signing, Harry Kane, at the Weserstadion in Bremen. Six more games follow on Saturday, August 20, and two more round out the first gameweek on Sunday, August 21.
This is the Bundesliga’s 60th season as Germany top domestic football league. To mark the occasion, they’ve created a special logo that appears on special edition retro match balls made by Derbystar that will be used for the first two gameweeks of the season.
